Frequently Asked Questions

Once we receive your most final and finished manuscript, captioned photos or finished art, the timeline is as follows:

• 3 weeks to proofread 
• 2 weeks for text and cover proof
• Upon final proof approval by author, files will be sent to printer
• 6 to 12 weeks to have books in hand, depending on paperback or case bound books

Timeline is dependent on how long 

1. Author keeps manuscript after proof reading and returns Word file to us for layout and design
2. Author takes to approve final text and cover proofs
3. Printer takes to get paper if not in stock at the time of order.

Text

Text should be a Word Document with as little formatting as possible. We do not do book design and layout in Word so please use simple text (Times Roman 12) and Chapter Names and Chapter Numbers.

Photographs

If your book has photos, please number each photo and insert photo number and caption into the text where the photo should be located. Make a separate list with photo number and caption: Example -- Photo 21 - Sam Smith onstage at graduation

Photos should be submitted as b/w or color jpgs at 300 dpi
